 Yoga classes Bristol

An overview of the different styles I teach;

 

Yoga for strength and conditioning - This class starts of with a slower warm up, then builds into more of a flow interlaced with drills. Sometimes specific movement patterns are explored in order to develop strength or flexibility; or specific postures are focussed on with an aim to develop more coordination.

Vinyasa flow - A dynamic flowing class which synchronises breath and movement.

Ashtanga yoga - An energetic system of sequences based on the Ashtanga vinyasa primary series which focus on posture, breathing (with sound), and looking points (drishti) to build strength, flexibility, and mental focus - a moving meditation.

Yin Yoga - A slow practice of ground based postures held for longer periods of time designed to improve mobility and flexibility by working into the tendons, ligaments, and connective tissue of the body.


Yin @ Yang yoga - A balancing fusion of Yin yoga and Vinyasa flow. Long held stretches are interlaced with dynamic flows to produce a strength building, yet relaxing practice.
